Our knowledgeable staff at Kennett Square Eye Care is here to ensure a smooth process throughout your visit.  For our patient’s convenience, we accept most insurance plans for eye exams as well as most major medical plans for comprehensive medical care.  If we do not participate with your insurance plan (known as a non-network provider), we are happy to help you in the process of submitting for reimbursement.  

We are experienced in working with insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your insurer to submit claims regarding your eye and vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits. Most current insurance plans are designed to cover a portion of your healthcare, but in most cases, patients have an out-of-pocket cost. Most plans often require a co-payment for an office appointment as well as additional costs that are covered by the patient.

Payment Options

In addition to insurance plans, many patients choose to cover their healthcare expenses with Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s) or Direct Pay. We appreciate all direct payment options and work with our patients to provide the best eye care for you and your family.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA’s)

Many employers are offering FSA options to employees. They are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. These plans are designed to let you save money in a pre-tax account to cover additional medical expenses such as eye exams, glasses, contacts and often laser vision surgery. They can typically be used in conjunction with any insurance plan to offset out-of-pocket costs.
